Environmental ARtist

Claire Kendall began her journey as an environmental artist back in 2016 after an inspiring course in Environmental Art lead by Zion Klos and Lucy Holtsnider at Colorado College. This program lead to the creation Paradise Melting, an Art Book depicting the effects of climate change in the Colorado Rockies. In 2017 she premiered Chain Reaction for Earth Day 2017 in Union Square about the importance of keystone species and the cascading effects of their loss in an ecosystem. Later that fall she created a dance work about Bees called The Hive with two jazz musicians, Saul Cosme (Guitar) and Joshua Nelson (Saxophone), for HONEY, A Senior Dance Concert. Claire is currently working on a new Environmental Art project titled P R O J E C T F I N I T E with videographer Dillion Hinchliffe.
